The 14th World Meeting of Sufism at Madagh (November 2019)
The MAP news agency announced that the 14th World Meeting of Sufism would be held from 6 to 10 November 2019 at Madagh (province of Berkane), under the theme “Sufism and development: the spiritual dimension and the edification of Man”, in the presence of 120 academics, researchers and intellectuals from all over the world.
“It is above all a universal gathering dedicated to the search for concrete solutions to the important problems of our time, and which aims to examine the contribution of Sufism and of spiritual values to our society,” explained the Meeting’s director, Mounir Kadiri Boudchich. In his view, “Sufi education allows actions to take on their full meaning and to reach the best outcomes, for the good of all.”
On the margins of the Meeting, the Al Moultaqa Foundation presented several of its initiatives: the Solidarity Village, the Assembly of Muslim Ecology, the Citizens’ University, the Techno-Ethics Forum and the Preventive Meetings.
